Today is Friday once again and I absolutely cannot wait to get out of hear. I have a bad case of Summer Fever. Anyways back to class and the daily grind. A good deal of the class is unfortunately gone and I am the only one in my group who has not gone to FFA. Good news for us is that Mr. Bruns found it in the goodness of his heart to start presentations on Monday instead of today.
I am continuing my research and am trying to sort out Operation Torch. Operation Torch was a campaign by the Allied forces of America and the British to liberate French troops under the Vichy government, gain control of North Africa, and draw some attention away from the attack on the Soviet Union. Tanks were a big part of this operation because tanks worked the greatest in the desert terrain of North Africa. General George Patton was a hero of the Operation and of World War 2, but if you want to know why, check out my blog about him from last week.
