Mr. Bruns is gone today and I don't know where he is. That means that we are not testing today and we get the rest of the weekend to study for the test. Right now I am doing a few forum discussions and researching my topic for part two of the World War 2 blog.

Africa was a major strategic focal point in the war. The Northern African front was primarily British colonies. This was also known as the Desert War. This area was right at the mediterannean and drew Axis powers away from the Eastern front.

Te campaigns in Africa were about the only area that the Allies could fight the Axis powers on land until they could invade Italy and Sicily. Tanks were a necesseity when fighting in the desert.
