Finally today is Friday. Grad parties are starting up and I plan on going to mark’s tonight. But first I have to get this done. Today we have a work day to help us get started on our cold war project. My subject is the Berlin blockade and air lift. This subject sounds pretty interesting.
The berlin blockade was one of the first major crises of the cold war. The west allies divised a plan to fly in supplies to berlin. This was labeled as the berlin airlift. GB and US airforces flew in over 200,000 flights and delivered over 13,000 tons of supplies. These supplies consisted of fuel and stuff to eat. Essentially we made Russia highly embarrassed because of how well we were doing in bringing in supplies and making them look bad. .
