We started class of by going over the Europe map a couple times. Then Trey did his part of the power point, even though his partner was gone. He continued the power point on species destruction. Species destruction is when a species is becoming extinct or endangered. Nearly 40 percent of 44,838 species that are listed are considered endangered. Things such as fishing nets, toxic waste spills, and sound pollution can kill up to 1,000 species daily. There are a lot of organizations that help prevent this from happening such as the World Wildlife Fund. When Trey finished his power point we continued onto blog discussions. It felt weird doing blog discussions on a Friday. Matt started off discussing his blog. He talked about a suicide bombing that took place recently in Pakistan. Isaac did his blog about two alqaeda members that were found and killed. Courtney had to do hers on Obama’s new nuclear treaty. Shannon shared her blog on Nuclear Treaties that started in 1945 – 1969 and then I shared my blog on them from 1970 to present time.
