The Treaty of Versailles- the tready that ended the war. Four countries met for the treaty US, England, Italy, and France. Woodrow Wilson represented the U.S. Wilson has 14 points the he wanted to include in the treaty, end secret treaties, freedom of the seas, free trade for all countries, desarmament, end to colonial countries, self-determination for all countries.Agreements of the Treaty-Territorial- Germany lost land to France, Belgium, Denmark, Czechoslovakia. Military- Germany's military was reduced to 100,000 men.They couldn't use tanks, airforce, or naval forces. This was to try and knock out Germany from being so dominate. Financial- Germany had to pay $33 billion. They fell into deep depression.Germany had state that the war all their fault.Wilson want the League of Nations in the treaty to keep world peace and he got it. The US wasn't in it at all though.Wilson traveled the country trying to get people wanting to join the League of Nations. In the 1920 elections Warren G. Harding won and he didn't want to join the League of Nations so we back to isolation.-Breann Lehr
