1 Beliefs:
Soviet Union-Communist:Needs of state before civil rights
USA-Capitalist Democracy valued freedom feared communist
Soviet Union wanted to spread Communism worldwide
2.Aims-Stalin wanted huge reparations from Germany. Wanted friendly states to surround it so they wouldn't get invaded again. US and GB wanted to protect democracy because European States were fallin into Soviets Control.
3.History-1918 US and GB wanted to destroy the Russia Revolution. Stalin also thought that they didn't really give them help in WW2.
Soviet Union weren't invited to the Treaty of Versailles
4.Trust-Every step each country took they hated each other even more.
Atomic weapons feared the Soviets because what US did to Japan
Both countries feared attacks on each other
US President had a personnal dislike of Stalin
Soviets feared that US would use Western
5.Actions
Soviets Action on taking Eastern Europe this caused suspensions.
