Had Civil War. They didn't get the land they want. Japan had it.

Wanted to destory communist Shek, Nationalist party. Tung he wanted to communist. Did guerilla warfare. Communist wanted to gain power. Nationalist wanted to mantain it.

China fought the Japan. Were in was for 8 years against Japan.

France and GB Friendship strengthen. France wanted revenge on Germany. France got their territory back. They wanted protection

Government was Republic (Democracy)

Gaulle leader after the war. They had a fake government they couldn't really couldn't do anything and Democracy.

It really didn't change Gaulle.

Wanted to get France back from Germany

Kept Germans out of their land. Wanted protection.

1. How did the Treaty of Versailles impact them?
It got hit really hard. Lost alot of their land around 50% of it. Had to reduce their armed force. No airforce. Decreased in Navy and Army.

Nazi Party, many wholes in the system. People liked Hitler because he was a good speaker.

After Von Hinderbug died, Hitler became chancellor.

Made up dictatorship

Eliminate Jews. He wanted to gain land that he lost. Wanted to undo what the Treaty of Versailles did. He wanted Germany became dominate race. So they wanted to expand.

Improved weapons. Didn't want people to fight in the trenches. Blitzreig attack all forces at once.

Cause most of it. They were the aggressor

Divided into 4 zones. Nazis fell apart. Hitler skipped execution because he commited suicide.


Great Britian

Forced Germany concede territory. Germany forbidden to maintain air force. Got African land and money from Germany.

Labour Party had great control over somestic economy but got little government. Constution Monchary (King or Queen)

Chamberlin resigned and Winston Chrurchill became prime minister. Winston more aggressive war leader.

5. What were the goals of the leader?

Commited to the Nation into an all out war until the victory was achived. His high level of enegry was an inspiration to the countrymen of Britan during the war

Wanted to aviod war. After war was declared they became more aggressive. US gave them supplies.

Allied. It support Poland if Germany invaded. It declared on Germany.

Hideki Tojo prime minister. He was 40th president of Japan. He was a head of the military. Appointed army military leader
