As our assigned blog is a free choice blog (is that an oxymoron?), I did a quick scan of recent stories. And I found this. Last Friday, the 2nd, a 21 year old girl, Rukhsana Kausar became a town hero in her district of Shahdra Sharief. This occured 20 miles from a cease-fire line between Pakistani and Indian forces. Three Pakistani militants, who were believed to be part of the Lashkar-e-Taiba group(of which pulled off the Mumbai terrorist attack a November ago), broke into their home and demanded food and beds for a night.
Typical Indian FarmerRukhsana was hiding under a bed when she overheard his father refusing to allow the opposing forces to stay in their home, which led to them beating him mercilessly. Not being able to handle her father's humilation, she took an axe and attacked the terrorist leader, then killed him with his own AK-47. She may even win 4,000 (insert indian currency here) for her bravery.
