These ladies were known as "The Tupperware Ladies." The "Tupperware Ladies" began going door to door selling Tupperware bowl by bowl. Earl Tupper was the inventor of Tupperware. He grew up very poor and never furthered his education passed high school. His dream was to become a millionare by the time he was 30. Earl Tupper often thought of himself as the next Thomas Eddison. He would never be seen without a notepad and pen in his pocket, just incase an idea came across to him.
