fire in Puerto Rico

For three days a fire burned at a fuel storage place. The name of it was called the Caribbean Petroleum Corp. at Bayamon in Puerto Rico. It was said that there was an explosion and it had a magnitude of a 2.8 earthquake. Seventeen tankes were destoryed by the fire. It was looked into to see if the fire was started on purpose. The only thing that they found was some graffiti on tunnels saying boom, fire, RIP, Gulf, Soul, ACNF, but they don't know how all of that would link to where the fire happened. All the govener wants to do is make sure there are no pollution or enviromental problems that come along with the fire for the future. They have been checking the air where the fire happened but everything seems to be fine. This fire was so big that 600 people were put into shelters. Some were sent home but the ones who stayed were vaccinated with the h1n1 virus because of all the people in the small space. This fire cost the island $6.4 million. Now they did loose a lot of gas but the govoner took care of that. They will get 3.6 million gallons of regular gasoline, more than 1 million gallons of premium gasoline and more than 1 million gallons of diesel fuel. I thought that this article was very intersesting because I dont quiet understand how they cannot have some kind of pollution that might damage because if seventeen were burned that is a lot of gasses in the air.
