- Elderly-Social Security Administration; founded in 1935. Older people didn't have ways to get money because no one would take people who were 70 over 25. The SSA gave them checks every month, everyone got a number, they keep it going because it helps people when that's all they'll have.

- Indian Reorganization Act (IRA) passed in 1934, Abolished the Dawes Act, and allowed Native Americans to govern themselves. Allowed Native Americans to manage and keep their own land. Included provisions to help create job opportunities on Indian Reservations. This led to the construction of many casinos.
- Emily&Sheridan: People who opposed FDR- The New Deal was challenged because people found it unconstitutional, it was a radical departure from the Laissez Faire Act, people said he was too much/not enough, he created a very powerful president that led Congress, this was a violation of checks and balances. Created a large government. FDR got a lot of criticism for trying to "pack" the Supreme Court, added 6 democrats.
- Populists- Said he needed to do more because people weren't getting helped.
- Rich People- Father Charles Caughlin was antisemitic, opposed FDR saying he didn't do enough. Dr. Francis Townshend was elderly and believed they needed to do something to help the elderly that lost everything when the banks closed. Senator Huey Long said FDR wasn't doing enough, he believed that every man should be a king-tax the rich almost 100% and redistribute wealth to everyone. (Robin Hoodin'). Assassinated by Carl Weiss in 1935.
