Monday- We finished taking our group test.
Tuesday- Talked about weekly blogging and posts, went back to going over the maps. Went over some current events. Groups to start a little project, group topics are Dictatorship and anarchy.
Wednesday- Talk about some current events.
Thursday- Started presentations
Friday- Started the Caribbean Islands map. Current Events. Talked about forum discussion leader tips. Presentations.
Current Events:
- American ISIS hostage Kayla Mueller is dead: Family has received information confirmed she is dead. She was in a building hit by an Jordanian airstrike.
- Brian Williams: NBC news guy. He said that his helicopter had been shot by and RPG, while in Iraq, which it did not really happen. He apologizes for what he said.
- President is asking Congress to declare troops to go over and fight ISIS
- 3 Muslim students are shot to death near UNC at Chapel Hill by a 46 year old man, over a parking reason.
- Gay marriage-13 states that don't

Presentation Note:
- Absolute Monarchy: A government determined only by its ruler. Go off what they want not like the constitution. Countries that have one: Brunei, Oman, Qatar, Arabia all in Asia and Swaziland in Africa.
- Constitutional Monarchy: The ruler most follow the constitution and laws and what the people of the nation want. Can not just do what they want have to go by the laws. Countries that have one: United Kingdom, Netherlands, Denmark, Luxembourg, and Monaco.
- Direct Democracy: Citizens have basically all of the say in the laws and decision and essentially all of what the government does. Not really a pure example but Switzerland is an example kind of.
- Representative Democracy: Instead of people citing for the laws, the people vote for people to make and enforce the law. Examples: US., Canada, Cambodia, and Chile.
