- Capitalism: Economic system that has private ownership of production.  Products are owned by the people, give individuals more opportunity to do things like start your own business. The U.S., Canada, United Kingdom, Mexico, and Ireland all use.
- Socialism: Political and economic system in which most valuable property and resources are owned and controlled by the public or state.  Any political party type or idea that tries to build the system.  Nobody owns anything, but everybody owns everything, the idea is that everybody all has the same stuff, and there are no rich people and no poor people.  China, Cuba, Laos, Vietnam, and Soviet Union uses it. A lot of countries that had this had a lot of the worst dictators ever.
- Oligarchy:  Rule of a few people who are generally the people who are richer and more powerful than the others.  Examples- Russia, Vladimir Putin since the 1400 hundreds, India- ruled by small circle of wealthy people, U.S.-not one person ruling the country, Britain, and China.
-Mixed Economy:  Party manage by the public people who run independent companies, and some is manage by government organizations controlled by the state. Examples- United Kingdom, Cuba, U.S., France, and Russia.
- Practice of Communism: Everything is controlled and ran by the government, people do not have the freedom of speech, religion, and etc.  5 remaining Communist Countries- China,Laos,Cuba,North Korea, and Vietnam.  Soviet Union-first communist country older but famous communism.
- Theory of Communism:  Every business is owned by the public, and there are no social classes and everyone is equal.   No examples of the theory of the theory because every country has someone to control.  This theory has really never existed.
Other Notes-

- Ukraine: Population is 44 million.  Language it Ukrainian. Have a republic government. Two major ethnic groups are 77.8% Ukrainian and 17.3% Russian.  7,400 per ca pita income.  Territory was ruled by a variety of powers, including Lithuania, Poland, the Ottoman Empire, Austria-Hungary, and Russia.  During WWI (1914-1918), part of Ukraine fought on Austria Hungary's side while others fought on the Russian side. After WWI, Ukraine became part of the Soviet Socialist Republics (Soviet Union) in 1992.  Ukraine became independent in 1991 after the fall of the Soviet Union and Communism in eastern Europe.  Has numerous issues with Russia ever since.
