- Relief, Recovery, Reform
- Relief- aimed at providing temporary help to suffering and unemployed Americans. CCC formed to help create jobs to millions
- Recovery - Was designed to help the economy bounce back from the great depression Minimum wages - working conditions - limit competition
- Reform- Targeted causes of the depression in order to prevent it from happening again. FDIC formed to save deposits.
- Deficit Spending - Printing, borrowing, spending money beyond what is available in a budget. Roosevelt started this
- Priming the Pump- Action taken to stimulate the economy through government spending. Government thought spending money would lead to economic expansion, eventually lead us into debt.
