What was the New Deal(1st and 2nd) and it's goals(3 R's)?

1-helped from the top down. blanks, business..wanted to trickel down
2-helped the people, was more successful


Why did people criticize the New Deal?

Why was FDR upset with the US Supreme Court and what did he do to try to solve this issue?

Describe the culture of the 1930's:

Criminals -- Bonnie and Clyde.. many new movies that came out during the 1930s; going to the movies was one of the most popular things to do because it showed a word that they did not live in. They were able to escape their daily lives of the depression.One of the most popular painting made during this time was the American Gothic, he was inspired from living in a farm in Iowa. Also the Conserving Resources Mural was as a heroic art. Listening to the radio at this time as very popular. During this time there were many radio shows that were broadcasted. Music was also very popular in the 1930s.

Hundred Days- what the president accomplished in the first 100 days of presidency .important social legislation was enacted.
fireside chats- FDR radio broadcast
priming the pump- how he encouraged the Americans to spend more money like how the government was spending more money
deficit spending-
the amount of money that the government is spending. spending more than we had
