February 23- Italy presentation. Mussolini came into power within years. Italy thought they were gonna get more land they got some but not as much as they thought they were. Ruined submarines. Italy wanted Ethiopia.
February- Notes. Everything you do should be for your country-Mussolini. Mussolini was not rationally killing a bunch of people. Killing people you don't trust. Italy invades Ethiopia. League of Nations were not happy with this. Italy dropped out of the League of Nations. Franco was buying power for Spain. Hitler doesn't invade Italy. Berliner axis, was the peace treaty between them. Had Germany and Italy not have claimed war on us would we have claimed war on them. North Africa surrendered to Germans. Then Italy surrenders to Germans. Italy was actually on Germans side but they switched to our side and began fighting for us. We were in France for less than a year. They spent just under a trillion dollars. 1943 Italy surrendered and switched sides. 1945 Italy was completely free, and so is Germany.

February 27- We went over Germany. Germany controlled France.
