U.S. Supreme Court-
There are no qualifications needed in order to be in the Supreme Court. Supreme Court nominations are nominated by the president and approved by the senate. Nominations usually have some time of background in criminal justice or law. The only way you can lose your job as the U.S. Supreme Court is by retiring, being impeached, or from passing away. The salary of Head Justice makes a salary of $223,500 and Associate Justice makes $213,900. The U.S. Supreme Court decide of laws are constitutional or not. The current Chief of Justice is John Roberts. Strict Interpretation is when people believe that if things are not in the Constitution it is not right. Loose Interpretation is when people modify or read between the lines of the Constitution. Loose interpreters believe that the 1700's was a long time ago and they didn't plan for laptops and modern life now. Supreme Court Justices don't hold elections because they don't have to please the people like the President, House of Representatives, and Congress do. If a case has to do with a U.S. Ambassador it goes straight to the Supreme Court.
