Bruno is a young German boy who lives with his sister, his mother, and his father who works at a Jew “prison.” Of course his family was relocated there for his father’s job. Since he doesn’t really know anyone and there are no other children around where he lives really, he plays alone and wonders the yard. One day, he wonders to a fence and sees a little boy in stripped pajamas.
Shmuel is the little boy’s name. He talks to him and even shares food with him. He notices the child is always hungry. He asks him questions and they become friends quick. Bruno’s mother yelled at him once after she found out he had been back there. He knew his parents would not allow so he snuck out to see Shmuel often. Sneaking him food and treats.
Shmuel and Bruno talk about being on the other side and they decide that Bruno should go over to Shmuel’s side with him. So one day Shmuel sneaks him the stripped clothes so he would fit in. They dig a hole for him under the fence and he changes and goes under. They have to go, as the soldiers were directing them into the shower areas. Bruno was of course wearing a hat or else they would notice his hair and that he is no bald, or a Jew.
Once they are inside, they are all shoved into a shower looking room and have to take off all of their clothes. Once in the room they are locked in and we all know what happens then. L Smoke comes of the chimney of the building, they were burned alive. Once the family realized there son was gone, his father ran to the fence and saw that he had crawled under. He starts screaming for his son, and starts searching the camps for him. Bruno’s mother and sister come later to the fence and start crying and screaming. After the father finds out he is nowhere to be found he finally figures out that he was burned along with the Jews.
I thought this was an amazing movie and I cried and I loved it! Haha. I would have to rate it 5 stars!

Good summary but your review is quite brief. Also, this should be added as a new blog entry. Not put in as a comment.
