African American/Native American/minorities-

Indian Reorganization Act- Passed in 1934Abolished the Dawes Act and allowed the Native Americans to govern themselves on a tribal basis, allowed Native Americans to manage and keep their own land, included provisions to help create job opportunists on Indian Reservations, this has led to many casinos on Indian Reservations, the Act is still around today,

Opposition of FDR- 

-Some say he went to far and spent too much money, Others say he didn't do enough he needed to do more, historians say he did the right amount, Created a very powerful president that led congress, this was a violation of checks and balances, it was a radical departure from Laissez Faire,  some say his acts appeared interfering and unconstitutional, Heavy debt burden, The US was engaged in deficit spending and this was unhealthy for the economy in the long run,

Father Caughlin- wanted a guaranteed income for everyone, wanted govt to take over the banks,

Francis Townshend- Argued FDR wasn't doing enough to help the elderly, his ideas eventually led to Social Security,

Hoover- RFC- trickle down theory gave loans out to big businesses benefit the rich, FFB bought farm services, Hauley smut tariffs high tariffs on foreign goods so people bought only American goods, Revenue act- Raise taxes Hoover Moratorium gave Germany a break from paying, WPIG- buildings damns schools construction projects,

FAP/FWP- entertainment and art wasn't  purchased during the depression, people quit buying luxury items,

Young- NYA- encouraged kids to go to school, CCC- had children build roads and plant trees, forestry,

Factory and Industrial/laborers- NRA- treated workers well prices were fair, Fair Labored standards act- minimum wage, 8 hour work day, FLSA/ NIRA- factory workers and laborers,

Agricultural farming acts- AAA FSA REA SCDAA- took pictures document, gave loan  to farmers, brought electricity to farms, educated faremrs how to bettter take care of their land, educate farmers rotate crops,

elderly social security act- saved lives moeny taken out of paycheck goes into saving account,

Homeowners- people lost homes, HOLC- extended loan payments, FHA- gave loans to try to keep loans, USHA- built homes for poor,

Native Americans- land was stolen forced into reservations, IRA gave idians freedom to live the way they wanted,

Banks- Banking act 1935- strengthened federal banks, FDIC- strengthened banks,

Stock market- FSA- had to gave laws to the stock marketSEC- enforced teh rules of FSA,

Energy- REA/TVA- gave midwest and middle America electricity, TVA- prevented flooding in Tennessee from floods built damns,

the 3 R's- Reform relief Recovery- RElief for the needy, Recovery for the economic recovery, Financial Reform, reformed the banks,
