NO SCHOOL

Trump has historically gotten a very low approval rating, but with more democrats voting then republicans, the vote was clearly very biased. Also, the president of Syria, Bashar al-Assad, is considered one of the worst dictators in the world. A couple years ago he was accused of using chemical weapons against Rebels. Our country does not support Syria, while Russia has always supported Bashar al-Assad. The Rebels were backed up by the U.S. while the Syrian government was backed by Russia. There was also a bombing last night/early this morning. Parkland students have also tried to show while 16 year olds should be allowed to vote.
2/21/18
South America Class quiz was today. We also discussed map tests and non map tests in the future. We also discussed theforrum post leader's topics which were about- 1- A father of a girl who was killed in a school shooting, and the father was critisized for wearing a shirt that said "Trump 2020" in a picture he posted on Facebook. 2- A dobberman (a more vicious breed) that saved a little baby girl from a venomous snake. We also discussed the people in Florida that are having a School Walkout because of the School Shootings, and the consequeces they might face for doing so. We also discussed the Liability rules of schools and how teachers are always liable for the students until they are off the school campus. Also, we talked about how 5G is comeing to hit the market this year, hitting cities first. It is a capable mobile device to access the network, and it is more efficeint then the ones in the passed.

We practicing the islands in the South American Map. We also discussed how a school in Illinois has very high security to prevent school shootings from happening, such as LOTS of cameras, an alarm that can be pulled to contact the police, etc. After that, we watched a video on gun violence. After that, we discussed the school walkout yesterday to protest gun violence.

We watched the video on the School in Illonois with a very high tech security system to avoid school shootings. Then we discussed whether gun control laws or mental health problems are to blame for the school shootings.
