( A pic of Paul on his horse)Paul Revere was born December 1734. He was known as a patriotic symbol. As many people didn't know, he was also a boston craftsman, dentist, and expedition officer. Most people only new him for the famous "Midnight Ride" he took. You know? The British are coming! The British are coming! April 18, 1775 was the night of this famous ride. Most of you probably think he just rode throught the town yelling. But no, he alarmed the countryside, stopping at each house telling of the Redcoats soon-to-be arrival. Paul was aided by two other riders as well. Their names being William Dawes and Samuel Prescott. Why Paul is known more than them, no one noes. Or cares since they are hardly ever mentioned in history. If anyone cares to read it, Henry Wadsworth Longfellow made a poem about Paul Revere. I didn't even read it so no one would blame ya if you didn't either. I couldn't get hyperlink to work, so just copy and paste this into the URL space. http://poetry.eserver.org/paul-revere.html
