Ex-U.S. official, wife plead guilty in Cuba spy case

Former state department employee and wife pleaded guilty of illegally aiding the government of Cuba for 30 years. Big mistake! Sudda stayed true to your country. Walter Myers, 72, pleaded guilty to a charge of conspiracy to commit espionage and two counts of wire fraud. He was charged $1.7 million for the two counts of wire fraud and has to serve a prison for life sentence. His wife, Gwendolyn Myers, 71, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to gather and transmit national defense information. She agreed to serve a sentence of between 6 and 7½ years in prison. Jeez all of this could have been prevented if you stayed true to your country. They were found out by giving info to an under cover FBI agent posing as a Cuban intelligence officer. Trust no one if your going against your country but then again how can you do that if you can trust no one?

Walter wrote in a diary saying a lot of stuff that flaws the country. Yea our country has her flaws but what country doesn’t? He also wrote that they were given lots of medals from Cuba because of the info he gave them. Jeez I like medals to but I’m not crazy enough to betray my country in order to get them.
