Ellis Island

Located in the Upper New York Bay area. It was the gate way for millions of immigrants from 1892 to 1954. Before it was used for immigrants it was the home of Fort Gibson and later on it was used as a Naval Magazine. In 1965 the island was made apart of the Statue of Liberty statue, and since then the island has hosted an immigrant museum since 1960. The south side of the island is home to the Ellis Island Immigrant Hospital but is closed to the public and the object of restoration efforts.

This is not written well and probably took you ten minutes to do. Tale your time and put more effort into this.
