Today, we started our presentations. The first group was Taylor, Lauren, & Courtney. They talked about Climate Change. Then..Bri, DJ, Erin, and Jess did Climate Change PART 2.Taylor's group talked about Climate Change. Cilmate change is when there is an increase in temperate over a time span. We can prevent climate change by GOING GREEN. Carpooling, picking up trash, walking to work, turning off lights. Ya know, the ushe. Droughts are happening, and so is water levels going up. ITS HAPPENING!Kyoto Protocol because they came up with it in Kyoto, Japan. It is an international agreement created by the U.N. The goal is to reduce the effects of climate change. 183 countries have joined it so far. The u.s. hasn't ratified it yet, which means to make it a law. If we do ratify it, many people may get laid off. The IPCC summary report was the fourth summary put out in 2007.
