1. What specifically happened and why did it happen? Serbs were killing Bosnian muslims. Worst genocide since Natzi's killing. It was more called an ethic cleansing than a genocide.
2. How many people were impacted/killed? 100,000 died. 80% were Bosnian.
3. Who was responsible? The Serbs and the Serbian General.
4. How did it end? Cease fires and agreements
5. Did the United Nations or United States do anything to help during or after the genocide/ethnic cleansing? If they did, what did they do? If not, why didn't they do anything? Clinton was in office, he promised to try and put and end to it. Someone declared a cease fire. UN peacekeepers were attacked. People from all areas came to the US.

Japanese war crimes on the Chinese-Focus on Rape of Nanking-1937-45
1. What specifically happened and why did it happen? During the 2nd Japanese war fighting against China. Japan troops killed and raped people in that city. They wanted to take the city down.
2. How many people were impacted/killed? Almost 1,000 were raped everyday. 40,000-300,000 killed in one city.
3. Who was responsible? Japan's soldiers.
4. How did it end? ended when the war ended.

Cambodia(Khmer Rouge/Pol Pot)-1975-79
1. What specifically happened and why did it happen? Pol-pot Wanted to move all the resources in Cambodia to farming. Many people started going against his power. Evacuating people.

-Adolf Hitler was in charge
-They blamed the jews for everything
-They thought Hitler was a good leader
-11 million people were killed - 6 million were jews
