Today, people believe they would've been released but because of the Red Scare. KKK - They made a comeback. They were anti catholic, anti immigrants, they were racist. Any that isn't white, north European, protestant. Immigration in the 1920's - Immigration Act was created to keep out people that weren't WASP's.
