Today we started blog discussions on world war one.Women got more respect because they had to take over the men's jobs. The key to why germany lost world war one was #1 the were in a two sided war.#2 we were involved. Countries competed with one another for markets, raw materials and colonies was one of the reasons for WWI. Trench war fair; you have ditches. they call this noman's land because you don't have a very good chance of surviving. Gas welfare was very dangerous . Neutrality was successful for three years.REASONS TO GET IN THE WAR- US very upset with both sides in war.o GB and Germany were both stopping US ships- Eventually, US drew closer to war and the allies.- Beliefs of War Hawkso Teddy Roosevelt- Trade with England increased, Germany decreased as years went on.o $3 billion in 1916 with England-WHY- German sinking of British ships and killing of US citizens.o Lusitanian, Arabic, SussexTrade with England rose, Germany declined.- 1916; people planned not to sink any ships without warning- Germany knew that US was providing GB with supplies, and the only way to cut off GB’s supplies is to sinking ships with out a warning, and that would upset the US.
