Today in class we went over Central America. The test will be in roughly 2 weeks. We finished up with the video from yesterday. They were the first journelist to dive in the reefs. There coral reefs are bleached white. Most of the coral were dying. Global warming has effected these coral reefs. Lake Chad use to be the largest lake in the world but is dissapearing cause of water decline. It has decreased almost 90% and mostly where there was water is now sand. It has been hard getting food out of the lake. This lake borders 4 countries. They traveled to the sorce of Lake Chad and got stuck in sand on the way. It is 114 degrees in the desert. People are getting sick because of food shortage and are more vulnerable to diseases. The Chaurry River is the source of the Chad Lake and the Chaurry river is getting smaller. Inhofe plays a big roll in climate change and global warming. All people have is electronic computer analysis. People think were running out of time and need to start e new path. Next we took a look at the Amazon Rainforest. Trees are getting cut down at a rapid rate and getting there getting less carbon. They have forces there to stop pochers. These forces are out numbered. 80 to 60% of logging are illegally cut out. Obama helps with these rainforest. That is what we did and what I learned in class today.
