Today in CWI we watched a video about the causes and effects of climate change and global warming. Over a billion amounts of ice melts in Greenland every year. It got a lot warmer then they expected in Greenland so the ice is melting and creating tunnels that go through the ice and then when there is water all the way across the bottom of the ice the ice flows along with the water. The guy said that we will habe a sea level increase. New islands are being discovered because of the warming of the world. Even the map of greenland is changing. You have to be careful when you walk in greenland because there could be hidden holes and you could fall right through. In some areas ice spots have disapeared as much as 40% in the last 20 years.In alaska they are trying to find polar bears. It is hard for them to spot because of the snow and the polar bears are white. Global warming can be negatviely affected by humans.In the South Pacific global warming is affecting humans.
