Today I continued on getting information for my project... focusing on 12-3.At the time, flight began to expand. Airplanes began to deliver mail. The first flight in 1918 was an epic failure... but flights after that were successful. Planes began to carry radios and other instuments for navigation. In 1926 Henry Ford invented the tri-motor airplane. In 1927, the Lockheed Company produced a single-engine plane, the Vega. It was one of the most popular transport airplanes of the late 1920s. Founded in 1927, Pan American Airways inaugurated the first transatlantic passenger flights.
