Today we watched a video and took the Canada map test. We were told to look for the causes effect, and definition of overpopulation. Yes.Causes would be caused, obviously, by the irresponsible reproduction of children. People that don't have money to support their children, still have kids knowing it will be extremely difficult to go through. Also many woman just don't have the information. They don't know about birth control, condoms, or other forms of safe sex. This occurs mostly in third world countries such as Nepal, and countries in Africa. The definition is not only of how many people there are, but how much impact each person has. Most people only think of overpopulation as just being to many people. It's also about the impact we have on the environment.Effects would consist of there being not enough food, homes, resources, etc. Also it takes a toll on the economy. It has many adverse effects on pretty much everything. Everything negative leads to something else negative. Pregnancy leads to abortion. Overpopulation leads to a lack of food and resources. Lack of homes and food... leads to death. I hope we can find some way to solve all of these issues in the world.
