they were nomadic and lived off the land. they had no horses until the white man came. when they hunted, they made use of everything they killed.

europeans wanted to go west so there was conflict. disease killed off most of the indians though. displacement also had a large piece to play.
reasons why europeans started exploring in late 1400's.
vikings came hundreds of years before but died out or left. mainly it began with trading with asia for spices and silks. another thing was to expand their land which would have meant more power, wealth, and to preach their religion. technology lke the astrolobe and faster ships helped increase the thought of traveling.
