Slaves and How the state missouri was one of the bigger conflicts: there were around three hundred millions Slaves in the states around the time of the war. Kansas did not want slavery. The north wanted to not be all about agriculture but to be about factories and companies.

South: they were on their own territory, so they know the land. They had more expirience with weapons and guns. they were used to their climate. the south had 11 states at this time. So 29% of population was in the south. Railroad Milage was 28%. Factories was 15%. Exports was 47%. Iron Production was 4%. Farm acerage was 35%.
Blacks start to out number whites in the south. blacks could vote before white women. white people start to kill black people to frighten them and scare them away. example the kkk.
