An australian man, Chris Rickard, gets attacked by a kangaroo while walking his dog. Rickard was walking his dog rocky down by the creek when he accidentaly awoke a kangaroo. The kangaroo must like his sleep.
He was walking his dog down by the creek. The 5 foot Roo was taking a nap by the grass, when he woke he got angry and actually started drowning the dog. Rickard then had to try to save the dog. When he reached down to save the dog, the kangaroo mauled the man. Rickard got a gash above his eye. This made it harder because he could not see. He had to hold his dog with two hands and fight off an angry Roo with only one eye to see out of.Rickard got several scratches along his chest, and small gashes on his face. The man's main focus was to push towards the bank. The kangaroo also started drowning him. Rickard finally got an elbow to the roo's throat. The roo then got off. Yeah.I think it's pretty crazy that a kangaroo would attack! I mean it is Australia. They are known for their roo's. I wonder if this will change people's thoughts on having kangaroos out in the open. Kangaroo's usually seem nice. In movies and things, but hey I guess everything isn't how it comes out to be. This isn't necessarily a happy story, but hey..he didn't die! and there were not deaths =]...that's good, Right?
