connecticut power plant blasts.

On sunday, in Middletown, Connecticut, workers were working in the kleen powerplant. A big accident happened. it was caused by a leak during a test of a natural gas plant under construction. The large explosion killed 5 people and 12 to 13 people were injured. this happened around 11:30 a.m.

people from twenty miles away could hear and feel the explosion. one hospital recieved eleven patients and two more were life flighted there.

the blast was so loud, some people even thought that an earthquake was taking place. peoples houses were shaking for three to six seconds and after that, a couple seconds later there was a big loud noise.

most of the injuries of the workers were extremity and fractures to the pelvic area,. Some of the injured said they were thrown thirty to forty feet.

i think latelyy there is a lot of tragedies happening in our world. and if i wasnt in cwi, i probably wouldnt have found out about this one or the others i have read about. but this is terrible, i cant imagine bring thrown 30-40 feet. and five even died.....
