Lately in Broward County, Florida, the kids at Deerfield Beach Middle School have been fighting and doing crazy stuff!
Police have been brought into it and are calling it “attempted murder”
This happened to kids from the same town and even the same school. It has happened twice in months.
A thirteen year old girl was almost beaten to death over a text message. The text was about how she didn’t want a relationship between them and that made the boy upset. So he decided to beat her up, and she never even met him before. While that was happening, her friend just watched and didn’t go and get help.
Another thing that happened was a boy got drenched in alcohol and then set on fire over a video game argument!
Both of these kids are still in the hospital, the girl is in a coma and making little improvement.
People in the community have no idea why the kids in the town are behaving like this
But the cops said the violence level has gone down a bit.
Everyone in the school is worrying about it, and worrying that they could be the next victim. They are watching their every action and thinking carefully before they say something.
I think that is terrible what kids are doing to eachother these days.
It would be scary not knowing if you were going to get beaten up or not.
And a kid drenched in alcohol and then set to fire?!?! That is just crazy and really scary!
I cant imagine anything like that taking place in our school…..
