Me, Megan, Chelsea, and Whitney watched the Boy in the Striped Pajamas. It is about a boy named Bruno, Whose dad is a Natzi soldier. They move to a place by a camp. One day Bruno goes exploring and meets Shmel, a jewish kid his age. Bruno and Shmel become friends and meet every day by the barb wire fence. Bruno also brings food everyday. One day Shmel tells Bruno his father went missing and he cant find him, and Bruno told Shmel he would help him look, but Bruno`s dad told him that him and his sister, Gretel would be leaving with their mom because they shouldn`t grow up there. So Bruno gets mad, leaves, dresses up like a jew and digs a tunnel type thing to get under the fence to help Shmel find his dad. They go into this one bunk house, which is about to be raided and the people inside are about to be gased. They are then taken to a gas chamber and they think they are taking a shower. Brunos mom is looking for him and she goes to his father and him and his men are all looking for Bruno. They figure out that he went to the concentration camp and is in the chamber but its too late.
This movie is really really really good and i love it ! I have seen like three fourths of it before and i loved the ending. It was really sad though. It made us wonder if something like that really did happen, or if one of the Natzis accidently got into the chamber.
