Today in class we went over the Asia map, it is a lot easier than the Europe map. The key moments in the Bush Administration were the fiasco speech where in the background said mission accomplished which created a lot controversy, Then President Bush decided to do a surge and it actually turned out well so that it is why people want to do a surge in Afghanistan, but people say it is different. The other major events were Iraq starting to set up a democracy by electing leaders. Bush never really believed in time tables, but at the end of his term he started to put up a time table.President Obama wants to withdraw from Iraq, so another year from now we will be out of Iraq. Our troops have already been pulled out of major cities. Our focus has switched to Iraq to Iran. Then we are started to move into the flat world, and then Mr. Bruns showed a power point. It is really scary how we will be competing with China and Asia.3Madison
