Saddam Hussein separated the church from state. He iconized himself as a dictator by putting pictures of himself everywhere. The 1990 war did not last long at all, it went from August 20, 1990 through February 28.The Persian Gulf results were a cultivation victory; got Iraqi military out of Kuwait. We won in several months. Iraq had to have weapon inspectors go into their country and check for WMD, IEAE. There were no fly zones into certain areas in Iraq; and there were 20-30 thousand casualties. The reasons we went to war with Iraq in 2003, to remove Saddam from demand, and we were worried about them bombing us.3Madison
