Bill Clinton was the 42nd president of the United States. To me presidents are a boring subject. All you know about them is what they did for the United States and everything else the news has to say. Quite frankly at this point in my life I don’t care, but I do find it kind of interesting when you hear facts about their childhood and things no one ever talks about.William Jefferson Blythe IV was Bill Clinton’s birth name. He was born on August 19, 1946 in Hope, Arkansas. His father William Jefferson Blythe III passed away three months before Bill was born. Until the age of four Bill was raised by his mother, and during her nursing school his grandparents, until she remarried Roger Clinton. Bill took his step fathers name in high school at age 14.
In high school Bill was in choir and played the tenor saxophone. He received first chair saxophone in the state band’s saxophone section. A visit to the White House influenced Bill’s decision to become a “public figure” as well as listening to Martin Luther King Jr’s I Have a Dream Speech, which Bill memorized.Presidents are a boring subject to me like I’ve said, but after thought I know that they mean a great deal to this Country. Our country has had many great successes and all with the help of our leaders. I know it is sad, but this is my last blog for the year. I hope you have all enjoyed my entries and wish you all a great end of the year and summer!Respectfully Submitted,2Jennifer
