I watched Hart's War =]
Lieutenant Thomas Hart is captured by German commanders during the first part of the Battle of the Bulge. He was then took to the local prison and held captive and naked until he gave some information to the leader, he and many other Americans were then transfered by train to a prisonier war camp. Not only is the train crampt up but then a flight of P-51 Mustangs attack the station, because of the snow the letters that said POW were covered so the flight shot the POW train and some of the POW's died to save their selfs they had to escape the train. After arriving at the camp Hart had a chance to stay with the officers but he lied to Colonel William McNamara, about wether or not he cooperated with the Germans. So for that lie he was set out to watch a bunk of the prisoners.
After a while two Tuskegee Airmen are brought to the camp and they are the only black guys at the camp. There are alot of racist guys at the camp but there is one guy that beats them all with racism and he stays in Hart's camp (sadly the two black guys also have to stay there) Staff Sergeant Vic W. Bedford.The two guys were Scott and Archer. Later on a tent spike was found in Archer's bunk he started calling Bedford a racist and saying how he set him up but the Germans did not listen to him, so the Germans then drag him out of the bunking place and shot him, because they said he was trying to escape. Directly after that Colonel William McNamara went to talk to the German people who shot Archer trying to say that it was wrong to just shoot him. Then the Germans fallow McNamara into the bunk that he watches and they find a radio that is used by the amercians to receive coded messages and they then destroy it.
Not long after that Bedford is then found dead, Scott is found standing over him and accoused of killing him in order to get revenge on Bedford setting up Archer. Since Hart was a law student before he went into the war McNamara makes him deffend Scott in the trail that Mcnamara gets the Germans to have.
I thought the movie was very good. I am glad that I found it to watch for this week. I thought it had a good story line and also it had some very good actors. I enjoyed actually doing my blog =]]
