Condoleezza was born November 14, 1954 in Alabama. At the age of three she could play the piano and eveyone thought that she would be a pianist when she got older. She was so smart that she skipped the 1st and 7th grade. She started college when she was fifteen. At college she realized that she liked the Soviet Union and international relations. After college she became a professor of Political Science. In 1991 she worked for President Bush as the Senior Director of Soviet and East European affairs. She also worked as a Special Assistant to the President for National Security Affairs. She impressed President Bush so much that when he introduced her to people he would say "this is the girl who tells me everything I know about the Soviet Union."

After she worked for Bush senior for a while she decided to move back to Stanford. When she moved back she became the first black woman to become a Provost. She was there for about eight years untill 1999. In 1997 she served on a lot of committees that had to do with helping schools in like third world countries. People say that her religion influences her decisions in the political field and in all the committees that she joins.
In 2000, Condoleezza was named the National Security Advisor. In the summer of 2001, Condoleezza had many meetings about supposed Al Qaeda attacks. When she was asked about those meeting in 2006 she says that she does not recall any specific meetings. People were then saying that she ingnored the terrorist threats that were made just two months before September 11. In 2004 she was asked to testify for something and then this made her the first sitting National Security Advisor to testify.

In 2004 she was nominated to be Secretary of State. In 2005 they had a vote and she won 84-13. As Secretary of State she has done a lot of good things. She traveled a lot with the Bush administration.
In 2008 there was lot of talk that she would run for the republican nomination, but she later said that she wasnt going to. She also said that she was not going to run for vice president. She says that she does not see herself running for an elected office in the United States. She supported Obama's decision to select Hilary Clinton for Secretary of State.
I think that she is a very good person and has done a lot of things for the country. I think that she would have made a great President or even Vice President. Maybe she will run in 2012.
