Christopher Columbus sailed to the Caribbean Area. Sailed for Spain
Ferdinand Magellan - His crew was the first to sail all the way around the world
Revolutionary War is the war that gained the U.S. Independence from Great Britain
Declaration of Independence declares independence although it doesn't actually give us independence
Friday - talked about events that changed the U.S. before 1877
