1. All men are created equal, they all have right. Great Britian isn't treating us right, so we have the power to over-throw them.

Articles of Confederation
- 1781 - 1788
- The United States was Un- United
- Gave more power to the states
Articles of Confederation - Result of Identified Weekness
taxation - money request nat always honored by states
no national military - states could ignore request for militia/troops
one vote per state - lack of equal access for citizens
Unanimous vote to change - Pproblems with Articles, not easy to fix
No National Courts - no way to enforce limited central power
Constitutional Convention - 1787
- All leaders met to has out what they are going to do to fix the Articles of Confederation.
- And the Decloration of Independence replaced the Article of Confederation.
