today we started our blog presentations, we talked about how native americans did alot of things untill the europeans came. they started to take the natives land and just start building over it which led to many conflicts but it didnt work when they tried talking to each other because they could not understand one another. the natives then started getting diseases that their immune systems could not fight off because they were never exposed to it. columbus was not only the first american to go to america but he also started the slave trade when at the same time his men raped many women and children and started to take them to make them into slaves.
out of all this information that i learned it thought what was most interesting was that columbus not only founded america but he started the slave trade. I also found out that his men would rape the natives.
