Today was the first day of school. Seems like summer went by way to fast! Today was my first day at Harlan school. It's so different from my old school. I just can't wait to get the hang out things, and get back into the "school mode" again.Today in Mr. Bruns' class we went over all the rules and expectations of the classroom. We reviewed what our assignments are going to be like, which are mostly on the computer.Mr. Bruns told us that we are to write one free choice blog a week and one assigned blog topic and to be prepared to discuss them in class that next Monday. We were also told that we are going to have to write five reflective blog summaries about what we learned in class that day, one for each day of the week. And even if you are absent or its a snow day you are still expected to write a reflective blog summary. The last thing we are required to do for Mr. Bruns' class is to start or reply to five message board posts, that should be history or current event related.Sounds Pretty confusing! (I know!) But I'm sure after a while i will get used to it. I'm prepared for a fun and excited year with Mr. Bruns. He seems like a very talented teacher!
