18th- Got our seating chart and got our groups. We were also assigned a project

20th- gone
21st- Went over powerpoints. Talked about the Louisiana Purchase, when the US bought a huge chunk of land from France. Had Lewis and Clark explore and document the findings, they were also looking for a water way to the Pacific Ocean. The Missouri Compromise, it was when they said anybody below Missouri was a slave state, and everything above was a free state.
22nd- Have to explain why George Washington was a president who set presidense. Talked about the Bill of Rights, and The Declaration of Independence, they always said "he" referring to King George. The thirteen colonies, the south was the farming side, and the north was the manufacturing side. You can also see where they started to split. The 13th amendment was the amendment that took out slavery. It was also considered one of the reconstruction amendment.
