The Boy in The Stripped Pajamas was a great movie. I loved it, because it just showed so many perspectives on the Holocaust and Hitler. The movie started with Bruno and his family moving from Berlin to "Out-with" which is really Auschwitz. Bruno's father is a Nazi commandant. The family moves and Bruno is warned that there are places he must not go, but Bruno ventures into the forest and runs across a fence. On the other side of the fence sits Shmuel, a jew, who Bruno quickly befriends. Bruno is very curious about the place Shmuel lives but he only thinks its a camp. Bruno meets Adolf Hitler who he thinks name in "the Fury" but its actually "the Fuhrer". Bruno quickly dislikes him and his date, but Bruno's sister however is always trying to impress him. Bruno is very annoyed with his sister's behavior around "the Fury" and with her relationship with a Nazi solder.
Bruno and Shmuel continue to meet at the fence and talk and one day Shmuel tells Bruno he can't find his dad. Bruno says he will help find his dad, but Shmuel has to get him "the Stripped Pajamas" and when Shmuel does Bruno sneaks under the fence. But as they are searching for Shmuel's father they get pushed into the gas chambers and are killed. This movie showed how innocent children can be. Also it showed how Hitler brain washed some children into believing he was great. I loved this movie.
