This is my free choice assigned web log entry. The topic for said web log is an attempted robbery in Van Nuys of California. The hero of this story, Kat Khalid, became suspicious as she waited for her son outside of a bank in her vehicular transport. This is because she saw a man wearing a wig and carrying a large bag while riding a 10-speed bicycle. After getting out of the car due to instincts, she heard gunshots, which sent her running into the bank, however others fled the scene.

The robber was already struggling with the security guard, who had been grazed by a bullet, which is when the 48 year old, 5 foot 6 Khalin, decided to make her move. She jumped on the robber's back, tackling him to the ground, while her 23 year old son took the semi-automatic mini-Uzi from his hands. Other citizens then jumped in to help restrain the chump. Khalin was awarded for her bravery, while the attempted robber(name not released) pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 28 years in prison.
The very wells fargo bank where it happened, from what I have researched.And I just wanted to say how awesome I think this all is. I probably wouldn't have done this, nor would the everyman. Pretty bomb article I like to think.
