Weeeell, my topic was "what role did the UN and other countries play in the war with Iraq". I didn't type that all out for the title because it's ridiculously long. ;)Okay, we've basically got China, France, Arabia, Iraq, the UN, and US. China, France, and the UN, who are lying on a bed of thorns with Iraq, don't want to go to war with Iraq. Simply because of their need for oil.Arabia is like "We need to get rid of these terrorists in Iraq!"Iraq is like, "Ha ha suckers!"We're sitting here like, "They blew up OUR towers and they have nucs!"The UN responds with a, "Well, we need their oil and you have no proof".Now, we go and complain to the UK and they say, "Go for it".Then we're like, "Yeah! Lets go in anyway!"Then the UN is just like ok whatever... then "Now wait a minute, that's illegal! You didn't pass it through us!"But by that time it fell on deaf ears. Now some of us Americans are thinking, "Okaaay, meybe it wasn't such a good idea". On the other hand, some are yelling, "LET'S CRUSH THEM!!!!!"To distill the argument, think of it this way, "There is always a cost for action and a cost of INaction".Also now, other countries are joining in with their soldiers. Now it's not just America anymore. Iraq's neighboring countries are thinking about acting. Now there's approximately 34 countries involved.I admit that I didn't think before that we should have gone to war... but now I think, "Yeah, we should just stay and see it through. We got back-up. The war is kinda going our way. So lets fight."
